About our Founder

Coach Tara Morgan is the Founder and Head Coach for Seize The Oar.  She originally hails from Oak Ridge, TN, relocating to Seattle in 1994.  Since landing in the Pacific NW, Coach Tara has established herself as a jack-of-all-trades successfully navigating the world of entrepreneurship and coaching.  She is a Certified Spin Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer (ACE), and Level 2 US Rowing Coach. She has speaking engagements at various fundraising and professional events, such as Washington State Therapeutic Recreation Conference, Whatcom Rowing Association, SCI Summit, and the US Rowing National Convention.  Rowing is her passion, inclusiveness is her goal.
